• the sponsor’s ABN 
• the postcode linked to the ABN 
• the number of nominations made 
• the kinds of occupations covered by those nominations 

This register is intended to improve transparency across the skilled migration system and is likely to be an important development for businesses that sponsor overseas workers. 

It may also help potential employees by giving them greater visibility over which businesses have an active sponsorship history, whether employers have previously nominated workers in relevant occupations, and which sponsors may already be familiar with the skilled migration process.
