Visa Consultation Service Terms

 

Scope of service

    • Once your payment is received, Better Life Migration will provide an one hour consultation (in person at the Parramatta office, by phone or online) with a Registered Migration Agent.

    • The service includes:
        • Personalised advice on your visa options and eligibility.

        • Answers to your immigration questions.

        • A written summary of recommendations after the consultation.

    • This consultation is limited to advice and does not cover preparing or lodging a visa application or ongoing immigration advice and assistance once the consultation is completed.

Fees and payment

    • The Visa Consultation Service fee is AU$249 (+10% GST if in Australia). Payment of this fee confirms your engagement of our services and is a non refundable retainer for the consultation.

Documents and information to provide before the consultation. If you do not have all the requested information please provide whatever is possible:

    • Visa subclass you plan to apply.

    • Passport bio page(s) for you and any dependents.

    • Qualification certificates for you (and your partner, if applicable).

    • English language test results for you (and your partner, if applicable).

    • Employment reference letters and résumés for you (and your partner, if applicable).

    • Previous visa grant notices.

    • Details of any visa refusals/cancellations, health or character issues, relatives in Australia who may sponsor you, or employers willing to sponsor you.

Your responsibilities

    • Provide accurate information and documents to allow us to assess your eligibility.

    • Respond promptly to requests for further information.

    • Keep this agreement confidential.

Our obligations

    • A Registered Migration Agent will act honestly and in your best interests, follow the Migration Agents Code of Conduct and treat your information confidentially.     • The Client acknowledges that they have been provided with a copy of the Consumer Guide and agree that it is their responsibility to download a copy and read and understand it. The Consumer Guide can be found at: https://www.mara.gov.au/get-help-visa-subsite/FIles/consumer_guide_english.pdf

    • We will act in your best interests and will keep you details confidential.

Terms

    • Engagement begins once the fee is paid and ends after the consultation is provided.

    • If you need further advice and assistance you will need to engage our full service.

    • If you cancel before the consultation, half the fee is retained as a non refundable retainer; once the consultation is complete, the full fee is deemed earned.

    • This agreement is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Your file will be retained for seven years in accordance with legal requirements.
